Indian Journal of Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology (IJCEO) is open access, a peer-reviewed medical journal, published quarterly, online, and in print, by the Innovative Education and Scientific Research Foundation (IESRF) since 2015. To fulfil our aim of rapid dissemination of knowledge, we publish articles ‘Ahead of Print’ on acceptance. In addition, the journal allows free access (Open Access) to its content, which is likely to attract more readers and citations of articles published in IJCEO.
Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with “Uniform requirements” of the Indian Journal of Clinical and Experimental Ophthalmology as per guidelines prescribed by the International Committee of Medical Journals Editors (Updated December 2019). The uniform requirements and specific requirements of IJCEO are mentioned below. Before sending a manuscript, contributors are requested to check the author guidelines, which are available on the website of the journal https://www.ijceo.org/info/author or directly from the manuscript submission website https://www.mprp.in/journals/IJCEO (Manuscript Peer-Review Process called MPRP).
Aims and Scope
The journal aims to serve society by publishing clinical and basic science research on ophthalmology and related subject. It will cover clinical studies in all subspecialties of ophthalmology including conjunctiva, corneal diseases, and refractive surgery, glaucoma, uvea, lens, retina, sclera, pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, orbit, oculoplasty, ocular oncology, dacryology, community ophthalmology, ocular traumatology, ocular imaging, investigative ophthalmology, genetic diseases, immunology, medical education pertaining to ophthalmology, health, ethical and social issues in the field of ophthalmology.
Articles of clinical interest and those with implications will be given preference.
