The Indian Orthopaedic Rheumatology Association (IORA) is dedicated to clinical research, education and upskilling of Orthopaedicians in the field of Orthopaedic Rheumatology. The activities of the association in the field involve the development of Orthopaedic Rheumatology as a unique subspecialty in Orthopaedics, issuing critical guidelines from time to time on the practice of Orthopaedic Rheumatology, training young Orthopaedicians through the fellowship program and conducting periodical CMEs and annual conferences for updating the clinicians. The association strives hard to seek international co-operation in bringing newer modalities of treatment in the chronic disease conditions in its domain.
IJOR is a peer-reviewed journal committed to rheumatological disorders including diagnosis, treatment, surgical techniques, continuing medical education, and emerging research in the field of Orthopaedic Rheumatology with a multi-disciplinary scope, IJOR features articles under original research, reviews, case reports, letter to the editor, editorials, and the OR forum category. Articles are accepted for exclusive publication in IJOR. Studies must be carried out in accordance with the World Medical Association Declaration of Helsinki. The journal aims to promote the cross-disciplinary diffusion of knowledge and improve the clinical practice and patient care provided by Orthopaedicians and Rheumatologists.
