In fact these media served as the last resort of them.
The early period of 21st century marked the beginning of industrial revolution. As a result of this, recognition was being given to skill specialization and good human relations in the production and good human relations in the production of goods and services.
The changes of technology led to the emergence of improved form of communication which had made men to be able to interact freely and share ideas, fact and figures with one another.
The evolution of human societies resulted in man’s attempt to reach out to one another. This attempt developed into what is known as communication. This ideas was elaborated by skill (1972-42) as to passage of information through the transmission of more meaningful symbols from one individual to another from one group to another. This pre-supposes that communication involves the participation of more than one person.
It is no exaggeration to say that communication is the means by which an organization is united. It may also be looked upon as the means by which social inputs are fed into social system. It is a matter of some importance to understand that every person in an organized environment shares the responsibilities for good communication. It is not only the top officer who may initiate while other receive nor it is not only the subordinates who originates while the superior listens. It is s process that every one is both on originator and a receiver of information depending upon authority and other relationship, which exist in an organization. The real meaning of this set of arrangement is that those in an organization have need to know when and what to communicate to whom, is well as the available means of information transfer.
A high degree of skill and care is needed to communicate with people. Misunderstanding is so common that a determined attempt is needed to cut down the possibilities of mistakes.
Effective communication of information to all categories of workers and management staff enhances efficiency in the realization. The problem of achieving effective communication and overcoming feeling of remoteness between different section become more difficult communication forms the link between individual in an organization.
All instruments, information, concepts, opinion and attitude must flow through individuals. It is through communication that any organization becomes an open system interacting with the environment, a fact which importance is emphasized throughout this work.
People have always seen communication as the ordinary passing of information between persons and organization without taking into account its effective role in an organization and how it enables it to achieve set objectives.
