Since Nigeria’s political independence 1960, the country has been working tirelessly to achieve economic independence. Several policies aimed at capacity building and utilization has been introduced by both civilian and military regimes in the country. That the fore front of recent macro-economic stabilization and the pursuance of a massive trade and investment liberalization programmed to encourage foreign direct investment in the country.
In achieving this, the country has relaxed most restrictions on current and capital transfers, introduced tax relief for those multi-nationals willing to invest in the country and improve access to foreign exchange at rear market rates.

Another focus in the liberalization campaign is the on-going massive privatization campaign of public institution which is again aimed at attracting foreign investment with the hope that this would help increase economic activity to bring in the much needed revenue to accelerated economic growth.

Nigeria is a richly endowed country abundant human and natural resources. The country is blessed with a variety of minerals deposits including petroleum natural gas, uranium, tin, columbite, coal, precious metals and gemstones. In the last seven decades, the country has earned over 300 billion US dollars from oil sales however, thus has not reflected in the standard of living of its citizens. Nigeria remains among the poorest countries of the world and still carries the tag of a “developing or underdeveloped nation” in recent times however, the government has come to recognize the importance of entrepreneurship education in economic development, and this economic development is fostered by few large-scale industries and by various entrepreneurial ventures or small-scale enterprises which have the capacity to provide employment and aid growth in an unprecedented manner. In order to minimize the problem of unemployment on our graduates, entrepreneurship education and training was introduced. Although it has been observed that the entrepreneurship development training has not receive due attention at the policy making level as a strategy of human resources development. This also reflected in the education curriculum and inadequate training provision in the country.

Even with the learning of entrepreneurial skill in schools, it is obvious that the training received by the students is not meaningful to enable them practicalize skill after graduation.
Therefore, it is against this background that this study is designed to examine the impact of entrepreneurship on the training of office managers in the labor market.
